Just finished up Rnd 4 of the POC ESChere at Pats Peak Ski Resort.
After a few mild runs in practice i had to sort out a few things as i was hungry to step it up as we head into the World Cups.
Sunday mourning come around and I was feeling a bit crook. Not sure what it was but i just did not even feel like riding.
As practice was all groups combined it was hard to link up sections of the tight technical course. Dropping in on my first run a put in a solid run taking the hot seat straight away with a time of 1:59. Just breaking the 2 minute mark and nearly 5 seconds on up second place.
I knew I had a little left in the tank so come finals time i hit my lines and just kept a smooth consecutive run and then sprinting to the finish with a time of 1:57. I was happy to take the win but I was stoked on the gap that was put in play back to second place. Also been the only rider to break the 2 minute mark. Also pumped on Jessie Bear taking 3rd spot.
2 Aussies on the podium. Yeah buddy
Time to hit the road again. Off the Sugar Bush for the American Grand Prix.
Big thanks must go out to Adidas Eyewear/Fortheriders/Bikingdirty/Mudenergy/NsDynamics and to my trainer Trent Prime and all that at home back in Aus. Stoked Guys Thanks
