Race Day Gravity Cup rnd 2. Getting it done

Race day- Practice started at 1pm so we finally got a sleep in yeww! After a big brekky it was time to get the bikes race ready then go up to the nsdynamics pits to chill out until practice starts.

Matt and I dropped in for cruizzzy run as soon as the track opened to see what had changed through out the mornings racing. Runs were feeling smooth and consecutive and the track was starting to blow apart.

Mat- Few tweaks from our suspension technician Aaron Cairns, to the Pivot Phoenix and it was ready to drop in for finals. Bike was feeling extremely dialed throughout the weekend so it was time to get it done. My goal was to crack the top 20 and as the beeps count down I made my run as smooth as possible with only a minor error in the top section forest. Cruised through into a 15th position overall smashing 10 seconds of my seating time, extremely pumped. Massive thanks has to go to the technicians from Nsdynamics, Adidas eyewear, the guys from Fortheriders and Jetblack for all your support.

Ben- after having a few mechanical problems with my wheels/ tires/ tubes during Sunday practice my confidence was running pretty low coming into race run! I managed to get to the bottom with a clean run putting me into 11th place less than a second out of the top 10. Thanks nsdynamics, and mavic wheels for the support all weekend and of course the guys from For the Riders. Thanks
