Hanging out in Canberra airport waiting for my lift with Ty from +Captyvate Media we go up to the mtn round midnight after dodging all the Australian wildlife on the drive up.
With not a lot of changes to the Thredbo cannonball track is was good to get up to speed quickly with jnr Remy Morton who has been putting in the work on this track for a while now. His lines are nothing but some of the fastest on the mountain.
Everything was dialled in and feeling fast. Linking together lines and sections and flowing the track at pace.
With the track been close to early 5min mark, I cruised down in seeding as pump run and just worked on some lines and kept a lot in the tank. Not really opening it up to much as I was starting to feel beating up.
On the morning of finals I crashed on the road on a metal grate and waited for the doctor to arrive on the mtn to stitch my left knee up. 7 stitches latter we were good to party.
Trying to race with stitches is not really the best way to front the start line but it had to be done.
Rolling down still on a solid run with very little pedals seen me way out the back. Still amped but just to be able to race.
Random pics.
