Queensland State Champs. Illinbah. Nsdynamics report

Solid ending to the 2014 Queensland state downhill champs for the boys from NSDYNAMICS with the stage being at the infamous illinbah track on the Gold Coast.

With practice going well on Saturday for all the boys it was not long till everyone was up on pace on the 3minute plus track. With Remy Morton and Mathew Dodd just returning from European summers it wasn't long till it showed in there riding.

Mat decided to race a 160mm trail bike as this is most suited to all the riding he has done.
With a week full of drama for Ben Power with his race bike being stolen and a quick build of parts put him back in the game. Not his own bike but with the skills of the rider he was on it.
Remy Morton slayed his Cycles Devinci Wilson putting it to it's paces with
Aaron Cairns( head technician) was out on his Intense 27.5 machine battling out the vets class .

Check out this edit from Tim Abbot about how the weekend played out.

Sunday race day was a good day with everyone getting into the positive vibe of illinbah.
With everyone seeding well it was onto the finals.

Mathew Dodd had fast solid run crossing the line into 9th position for the little bike.

Thanks to Eye See Images.

Ben Power stomped his run with missing a critical line at the top section which put him 4th overall which placed him 2nd in QLD

Thanks to Slabbert Photography.

Remy Morton Had a clean run despite clipping a pedal and running off track in the Forrest but was still able to make up some time and place himself 3rd in Elite men, although 1st in QLD!

Thanks to Slabbert Photography

Aaron Cairns was Probably having the most fun out of all of the team every time we saw him he was stoked! With His positive attitude he put in a good clean run apart from clipping a pedal when landing off the fly-over in the middle of the coarse which caused him to swap out a little before getting hard on the pedals into 4th place.

Thanks to Slabbert Photography

Massive thanks must go to all the sponsors that brought this event together and all the hard workers behind the scenes. We thank you from nsdynamics.
