Not much going on in Bright

With my self crashing out in practice and sitting out the qualifying and finals due to a shoulder injury.

Benny Power took a big fall in the finals to come down in 10th position still.

2013 Off to a rolling start.

With the new year beginning with a perfect day and not been hung over, it was off to Mt Joyce MTB park for some trail slaying with Nigel Reeve on the little bikes.

Buy far the best start to a new year I have had yet.

Bikes, Trails, Good company and a sneaky beer to top it off.

If this is the start I am definitely looking forward to what adventures are ahead of me. BRING IT ON.

Illinbah open day / Helmet cams

Sunday the 9th of december seen the Gold Coast MTB club host another successful Illinbah downhill social day. 

With a lot of positive comments about all the work the we have all been putting into the track over the past couple of months. Makes it all worth while.

The day went extremely well with all shuttles drivers and riders keeping respect for all the land owners in the area whilst traveling past the properties. 

This is certainly a positive step forward for the hill and the club.

2nd run down seen me snap my derailer hanger so it was chainless for me.

Massive thanks must go out to Harvey Powers and Fraser Short and all that contribute to the maintenance and organisation of theses days.
